"You feel transported the minute you drive up" to this "stunning" hotel on Kaanapali Beach, starting with the "breathtaking lobby" and its "gorgeous water elements and resident penguins"; though there's "not much beachfront", the "lush gardens", "first-class spa" and "fabulous" pool (with its "waterfalls, grotto bar and waterslide") more than compensate, and while some praise the "attractive" rooms, quibblers say the "baths need updating."

Beautiful hotel right next to the beach. Lots of restaurants within walking distance.

Awesome grounds with fish, birds, and penguins. There are pools with waterfalls. There is a cirque show at the hotel.
Pool area can be party town during day. There were loud guys at poolside bar screaming at sports on TV.
Great room with balcony. Great beds and linens. Very nice shampoo etc. Refrigerator in room. Must tour the ground! Don't do the Luau at Hyatt. Much better one - Old Lahiana Luau! 10 minutes from hotel. ...read more
